The acclaimed sci-fi adventure 1000xRESIST is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 as a free upgrade for owners of the original game. The Switch 2 Edition was announced on August 17 by publisher Fellow Traveller and developer sunset visitor, with the official Nintendo eShop listing dated for an August 20 release.
The listing describes a version rebuilt for the new hardware, with 4K resolution in TV mode and 1080p in tabletop and handheld play at 30 frames per second. The eShop page also confirms a 21.3 GB install size and full français, English, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese language support. Those who already own 1000xRESIST on the original Switch will be able to move to the new edition at no extra cost, per the announcement and product listing.

1000xRESIST is a three-time IGF-nominated narrative adventure set a thousand years in the future. Humanity has been all but wiped out by a disease spread by an alien occupation, and the surviving clones live underground under the rule of an AI called the ALLMOTHER. Players take on the role of Watcher, a clone who serves the ALLMOTHER until a hidden truth upends everything she believed.
