The December 10 date applies to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. Koei Tecmo describes two main activity areas: scouting missions outside the walls, where players build supply bases and fight Titans, and a Regimental HQ mode with character interactions and additional story scenes. The package is therefore positioned as a single way to follow the full series arc rather than a small add-on to one earlier entry.
Edition comparison
Koei Tecmo currently lists a Standard Edition, a SteelBook Launch Edition, and a Digital Deluxe Edition. Its own page lists no prices; the money figures below are the Steam storefront prices, which are $69.99 for the Standard and $89.99 for the Digital Deluxe in the United States, £54.99 and £69.99 in the United Kingdom, and €69.99 and €89.99 in the euro area, so console-store prices may differ. The main difference is the bundle of extras, not a separate story campaign. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the 72-hour early-access window on the platforms Koei Tecmo lists as eligible, but the official details exclude Switch 2 from that benefit. The SteelBook edition is a physical presentation option with its own cosmetic items; its final retail terms are not fully published on the official page.
Pre-order and save-data bonuses
Koei Tecmo separates two different bonuses. The Digital Pre-order Bonus is the Character Customization: Wings of Freedom Earrings, available when you reserve a digital copy in advance. The Early Purchase Bonus is the Character Customization: Wings of Freedom Hoodie, available to anyone who buys the game by December 23, 2026. Both are separate from the Digital Deluxe contents, and Koei Tecmo notes that either may later be distributed as paid or free content, so the bonus list should be checked against the selected storefront rather than assumed from a retailer summary.
Players with save data from Attack on Titan 2 or Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle are eligible for additional in-game bonuses. Koei Tecmo says more details will be shared at a later date, and states that the saved data must be stored on the same console used to play Attack on Titan 3. Keeping that save on the same console is the preparation that matters until the publisher explains how the check works.
Switch 2 format and what remains unknown
The Switch 2 version does not receive the Digital Deluxe 72-hour early-access window, which Koei Tecmo states applies to the Switch 2 version and to the separately planned Digital Deluxe Upgrade Pack alike. The same page states that the Switch 2 physical package is sold as a Game-Key Card version only and that the Steam version is a digital download. The official page has not fully settled every physical-edition, retailer, or region-specific question, so confirm the price, format, bonus list, and early-access eligibility on the relevant official storefront before treating a retailer listing as final.
