Steam’s Cyberpunk Fest is live, with week-long discounts on cyberpunk and futuristic games running through August 10 at 10:00am PT. Valve announced the festival on August 3, billing it as a week of deals on “every type of cyberpunk futuristic game you can imagine.”

The sale is centered on Steam’s cyberpunk category page, which acts as the festival hub for both the discounts and the event’s new trailer. Valve’s announcement runs through the genre’s range: hunting serial killers, joining rebel groups, building futuristic cities, co-op spy adventures, and what the company cheerfully calls “booze-em-ups.” The official Cyberpunk Fest trailer, published on Steam’s YouTube channel, sets the tone for the week, and Valve suggests players either watch it for a taste of the lineup or head straight into the sale.

The festival opened on August 3 and, per Valve, the deals run “all week long.” The festival-wide discount window closes on August 10 at 10:00am PT. Individual games can end their promotions before that cutoff, so the deepest flagship deals are worth checking early.

Cyberpunk 2077 and Ninja Gaiden 4 lead the deals

The festival’s flagship discount belongs to CD Projekt Red’s open-world RPG. In the US Steam store, Cyberpunk 2077 is 70 percent off, dropping from $59.99 to $17.99. The base game’s store listing marks its promotion as ending August 9 at 10:00am PT, a day before the festival-wide window closes, making it the deal to grab first. The Phantom Liberty expansion is also discounted, to $17.99 from its usual $29.99, a 40 percent cut. CD Projekt Red’s cyberpunk saga has kept selling at a remarkable clip since launch, passing 40 million copies earlier this year.

Team Ninja’s Ninja Gaiden 4, which hit Steam in October 2025, is 40 percent off at $41.99 in the US store, down from $69.99. Beyond the big names, the hub behind the sale is arranged into sections beyond the discount grid, mixing heavily reduced titles with genre-curated recommendations, so the festival surfaces well-known franchises and smaller genre picks alike, from top-down shooters to futuristic city builders.

A week-long event in a busy festival calendar

Cyberpunk Fest is the latest in a steady run of themed Steam events in 2026. It follows the Steam Train Fest, which ran through July 27 on the same pattern of discounts and demos across a themed slate, and June’s Steam Next Fest, which put playable demos in front of players ahead of the summer sales season. Valve has leaned on these recurring week-long events to rotate discounts and discovery through the storefront between the big seasonal sales, cycling through themes from trains and ocean exploration to medieval fantasy.

For players, the practical detail is the timing: the festival-wide window closes August 10 at 10:00am PT, while flagship deals such as Cyberpunk 2077 end a day earlier. The category page lists every participating discount in one place, so a quick scan shows which of the genre’s biggest releases are currently reduced. Prices quoted here come from the US Steam store and may differ by region.
